Trapeze Swings Into Asia and Turkey

Interactive broadband entertainment studio, Trapeze (www.trapeze.com) has announced the licensing and launch of its broadband programming content to media companies in Asia and Turkey.

Trapeze's show "SafehouseLive" will begin airing on Sharkstream.com, a streaming entertainment portal for the Asia Pacific market, on December 8, 2000. Sharkstream will also launch a marketing campaign for "SafehouseLive," using billboards, newsletters and a contest.

"SafehouseLive" is an independent, broadband production, shot simultaneously in real time, with four different cameras, in four different rooms. The short flim, which was created in Apple's QuickTime and Macromedia's Flash, invites viewers to switch between the different rooms, sample trendy music and follow the action as it moves around the party. The show can be viewed at www.sharkstream.com in the "Short Films" section.

"Trapeze's "SafehouseLive" is just the type of Internet programming we have been looking for. The innovative use of technology and story architecture allows viewers to instantly and actively participate in the unfolding drama, allowing for a richer, more interactive entertainment experience, "said Lolita Bam, director of operations of Sharkstream. "Trapeze is definetly on the cusp of defining future trends and standards for Iternet broadband entertainment."

Sera Films, a Turkish media company, also agreed to distribute "SafehouseLive."

"SafehouseLive is exciting programming for our target young audiences," said Idil Urfalioglu, general manager for Sera Film services. "In our country, most viewing Internet users and Internet program participants tend to be younger audiences and this rave thriller will be a great hit."
