With Addition of SNY, New York Fans Can Now Stream Every Local Sports Team on FuboTV

fuboTV Among the First OTT Services to Launch SNY, adding Unparalleled New York Mets Coverage to its Channel Lineup in Time for Opening Day

NEW YORK(28 Mar 2018)

Sports-first live streaming TV service fuboTV has today added SNY, making it available to new and existing “Fubo Premier” subscribers at no additional cost.   With the official television home of the New York Mets, Jets and all things New York sports now part of its lineup, fuboTV becomes the only OTT provider to offer all three NY regional sports networks (RSNs) in its base package – and is among the first to launch SNY.

Via fuboTV, SNY can be streamed on desktop computers, mobile phones, tablets and TV connected devices including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku.

“We are excited to team up with fuboTV and to have our Emmy award winning programming available to its subscribers,” said Steve Raab, President, SNY. “It is important for us to continue to enhance our offerings so that the sports fans we serve have choices and access to the teams and athletes they follow when they need it.”

Bringing fans the most sports for the least money, Fubo Premier offers a growing number of local TV stations, RSNs and national channels – with more that carry sports than any competitor’s base package – along with leading entertainment and news programming.  This includes more than 30,000 sporting events per year and some of the most popular shows on television.  Following a free seven-day trial, Fubo Premier is available at $19.99 for the first month, and $44.99 per month thereafter, with no long-term contracts or set-top-boxes required.  Personal cloud DVR and two simultaneous streams are included in this subscription, with options to upgrade with the Cloud DVR Plus or Family Share add-ons.

“For passionate New York sports fans, it is now easier than ever to root for their home teams on fuboTV – which is the only streaming package to offer all three NY regional sports networks, including SNY,” said fuboTV Head of Content Strategy & Acquisition Ben Grad. “With SNY now part of the fuboTV lineup, we are giving fans more control to watch the network’s exclusive Mets, Jets and UConn Huskies basketball coverage, and more, at home or on the go, and on their favorite devices.”

For the 2018 season, SNY is the exclusive home of 127 live New York Mets games, as well as pre- and post-game shows, with its Emmy Award-winning Mets broadcast returning when the New York Mets host the St. Louis Cardinals at Citi Field on Thursday, March 29 at 1:10 p.m. ET.  Opening Day coverage on SNY begins at 5:00 a.m., and runs before, during and after the match-up, with programming including classic Opening Day games, new documentary “Kid: A Gary Carter Story,” hours of pre- and post-game analysis, and wrapping up with the network’s daily GEICO SportsNite in its new 11:00 p.m. time slot.

Throughout the year, SNY also has hundreds of hours of exclusive programming featuring the New York Jets and UConn Huskies Men’s and Women’s basketball, as well as comprehensive coverage of the Tri-State area’s professional and collegiate sports teams.

Beginning this week, fuboTV subscribers will also have authenticated, TV Everywhere access to SNY content through SNY.tv or the NBC Sports app by signing in with a fuboTV username and password.

As of Opening Day 2018, fuboTV brings subscribers access to 70 percent of all Major League Baseball games and 80 percent of RSNs in the U.S.
