With the release of TVUPack version 5.5, TVU continues to introduce technology, such as integrated MIMO MESH and real-time full HD error free video transfer, that makes it the most dependable mobile uplink cellular device for successfully transmitting video in practically any bandwidth environment. TVU Grid version 3.0 features even better lower latency performance and an updated user interface. TVU is also introducing its new TVU Booking Service designed to work with both TVUPack and TVU Grid, adding automated booking and scheduling using a simple Web interface. - Real-time HD File Transfer – TVUPack’s new progressive download functionality delivers a flexible option for multimedia journalists looking to fully utilize the industry’s best-of-breed store-and-forward functionality. With this feature, TVUPack delivers a HD quality error-free video clip in real-time without needing to wait until the clip is fully recorded. This ensures that high quality video production clips can be sent to the studio for editing in as little time possible.
- Enhanced TVU Social Functionality - TVU has introduced enhanced functionality for the TVU Social platform, enabling field crews to post still images from the TVUPack transmission directly to Facebook.
- Dual Channel Receiver Capabilities – TVU has introduced a second available channel for TVUPack receivers, ensuring that TVU receivers can input live streams from two TVUPack transmitters simultaneously.
TVU Grid version 3.0 includes the introduction of performance enhancements that enable broadcast organizations to distribute video at lower latency settings, including sub-second latency. Grid 3.0 also features an updated simplified user interface.
As part of the release, TVU has also introduced its new TVU Booking Service, a simple, integrated booking and scheduling solution designed to help broadcasters better manage multiple streams within their IP video workflow.
