Sixty Integrates Ease TV with Huawei Envision Solution to Enhance Consumer Viewing Experiences

The Interactive TV company Sixty today announced that it has integrated its Ease TV user interface framework with Huawei’s Envision Solution. Sixty’s Ease TV will use Huawei Envision Open API to provide a more powerful and flexible hybrid video solution for new and existing operator customers.
Developed by a unique team of graphic, broadcast design professionals and developers, Sixty developed Ease TV to enable operators to quickly design and launch television experiences. It offers a high performance UI framework and modules for core TV functionality such as Live TV Catch-up, My TV, TV Guide, Portal Menu, PVR, Search, Radio, Settings, and VOD. The Sixty solution is highly flexible and enables operators to provide services that fully reflect their brand. Ease TV is a STB UI software product that enables distributors to offer premium user experiences to their customers. The product is built upon 10 years of experience in the market which has made the technology flexible and easy to adapt to different types of hardware and platform configurations.

Huawei Envision Solution is a series of solutions including Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB), IP Television (IPTV), and Over the Top (OTT). Huawei Envision Solution helps video operators to provide high-quality (HD, Blu-ray, 4K, etc.) and content-rich video services to the end users with STB, mobile phone, tablet, PC and other terminals. Its flexible architecture is designed to support future evolution and expansion of operators’ video services.
At IBC in Amsterdam Sixty will be demonstrating its Ease TV solution on the Huawei booth 13.A06.
