Floris Bauer is a media executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the

global entertainment industry.

Bauer is the Co-Founder and CEO of TOBA Media, a venture studio that builds and invests

in new media brands and channels. TOBA Media’s portfolio – currently including DUST,

ALIEN NATION, ALTER, CUT STUDIOS, and HIHO KIDS - have over 50m subscribers

combined and billions of views across platforms.

Bauer is also the Co-Founder and President of Gunpowder & Sky, an independent studio

known for its award-winning film, TV, audio, and VR projects. Since its inception in 2016,

Gunpowder & Sky has produced and released over 60 features and series

including Sheryl, Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala, Sabrina Carpenter: A VR Concert Experience,69:

The Saga of Danny Hernandez, Lil Peep - Everybody’s Everything, Gaming Wall Street, and

original audio productions DUST, Lighters in the Sky, and Words + Music.

Previously, Bauer served on the management team of Endemol Group, a global leader in

entertainment (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror, Big Brother, Master Chef, Deal or No

Deal, Fear Factor). Responsible for the company’s global expansion across TV & film

production, content distribution, FTA/Pay TV channels, digital video and gaming, Bauer

successfully launched and acquired numerous businesses in 15+ countries across North

and South America, Europe and Asia.

Bauer is a Dutch native and prior to moving to the United States, he lived in The

Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom
