Just a few months ago, we seemed to be on a path to return to Huntington Beach, California for our first in-person Streaming Media West conference in two years. Our planners, speakers, and community were all very excited to see everyone face-to-face again. Unfortunately, it now seems there continues to be too many obstacles in our way for us to overcome. We have recently made the decision that we will not be able to host Streaming Media West 2021 as an in-person event.
We deeply appreciate your support of Streaming Media West and your understanding that we have made every effort to host Streaming Media West 2021.
We are, however, excited to move forward with planning for Streaming Media West Connect 2021 featuring Content Delivery Summit. The virtual event will be held, as scheduled, the week of November 1 - 5, 2021. Streaming Media University workshops and the newly added Content Delivery Summit will take place Monday, November 8.
Streaming Media Connect events offer practical advice, inspiring thought leadership, and in-depth training. You’ll hear the innovative approaches that the world’s leading organizations are deploying in live streaming, OTT, content delivery, next-gen TV, and much more

Do I need to cancel my hotel reservation?
Attendees who booked through Meeting and Travel Consultants (MTC), the official housing bureau, do not have to cancel their reservation. Reservations made within the official room block will be canceled automatically. If you booked outside of the official room block you are responsible for canceling your own reservation.
Do I need to cancel other travel arrangements?
Yes. We encourage you to cancel any travel plans you may have made on your own for Streaming Media West..
