He has built a career on connecting today’s digitally engaged consumer to the world’s best live content, enabling the most watched livestreams of all time. John’s work has produced over one billion audience engagements across Fortune 500 clients who have sought his expertise in creating customized experiences that tell a story.

Always one to identify industry shifts and opportunities early on, John collaborated with Prince to develop the first major artist direct to consumer digital music store, garnering Prince a Billboard Award for Best Use of Technology by an Artist and a Webby Award. His sales and business leadership at startups led to acquisitions by AEG, Google and Akamai.

Following the acquisition of his company Incited Media by AEG, John served as VP, Sales and Business Development, where he spearheaded livestreaming for Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Rock In Rio, The Royal Wedding, TED Conference, the Grammys, the Oscars, and the Masters. Within a year, he increased revenue by a staggering 600 percent.

In 2012, he founded Bulldog DM. The company remains a key partner for Madison Avenue advertising juggernauts and top brands across the world, seeking John’s livestreaming expertise. Bulldog DM clients include: Apple, AT&T, YouTube, Amex, Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Procter & Gamble, Netflix, Samsung, Snickers, and Qualcomm.  Bulldog DM powered projects have been recognized with multiple Clio, Shorty, Webby, Cannes Lion, Epica , One Show and BizBash awards.  Thanks to this roster, John has been invited to speak at CES, NAB, SXSW, and Harvard Business School. 

Outside of all things Bulldog DM, Petrocelli is very active in adult baseball, playing in leagues for twenty years. Additionally, he supports the Southern California Bulldog Rescue. Much like his company’s namesake, he has always operated in a straightforward fashion—cutting right to the chase. “When it comes to a bulldog, what you see is what you get,” he explains. “It’s very easy to misunderstand or misinterpret technology and livestreaming has become so popular that a great amount of confusion has resulted from all the noise and emphasis on the industry.
