Picture of Michael GuthMichael Guth is the Senior Vice President of Marketing, of Spectrum Reach, the advertising and sales division of Charter Communications. In this role, Michael oversees all marketing activities for Spectrum Reach at the enterprise and field levels, including brand marketing and communications, product marketing, production/creative services and field research. He and his team are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive integrated marketing, branding and product strategies for Spectrum Reach’s television, digital and emerging ventures including advanced advertising products and data services. Prior to his current role, he was General Manager, Senior Vice President, Account Management, and Marketing Partnerships at Madison Square Garden Company (MSG). In that role, Michael led a world-class marketing partner portfolio, including such clients as J.P. Morgan Chase, Pepsi, Delta, Anheuser Busch and Lexus across all team, venue and media assets. He successfully redefined and expanded the vision for his team to be a more strategic and consultative thought partner for both internal and external partners. Previously, Michael held a number of other roles including Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at MSG where he led transformational initiatives including the creation of platforms and processes to better align Media, Sports and Entertainment divisions against consumer and revenue growth opportunities, as well as all marketing for NY Knicks, NY Rangers, and NY Liberty teams. He also led sales organizations for MSG Network and Fuse TV. Prior to his most recent role with MSG, Michael was the Chief Operating Officer of the Opry Entertainment Group, a division of Ryman Hospitality Properties, in Nashville, TN. Michael also served as Senior Vice President for Time Warner Global Marketing, including AOL, Turner, Warner Brothers, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable and HBO. He has held a number of other marketing roles that have added to the depth of his industry and leadership experience. Michael holds both an MBA in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts from Harvard.
