Picture of Lynn IsenbergLynn Isenberg is an accomplished WGA award winning screenwriter-producer for film/television, novels, and non-fiction. The art of imagination launched her on a creative path when in third grade, her story KING C was selected for Oakland University’s Young Authors Conference. From there, she propelled herself to LA to write and produce Hollywood mainstream content where she started at CAA, then the studio system, and later racked up credits on MGM’s Youngblood, Tri-Star Picture’s I Love You to Death, Mistral Pictures’ dance drama True Vinyl, Showtime’s Bordello, Fox’s Ally McBeal, the First Internet Film & Music Festival (IFMF) which she architected into the Sundance Online Film Festival.  From there she has written four entrepreneurial comedy novels: My Life Uncovered,  The Funeral Planner, The Funeral Planner Goes to the White House, The Funeral Planner Goes Global.  Her TFP comedy novel received front page publicity in the New York Times landing her guest appearances on NBC, CBS, NPR, and a Celebrity Partnership with 1800Flowers. The Funeral Planner has over one million online reads. Her non-fiction works include the critically acclaimed Fine Living Network’s I::Design TV series, and critically acclaimed book Author Power: Profit Before You Publish in which she maps out how to generate six figures by repurposing your IP with curated content-branding.  She is currently completing an Informational Video titled PROJECT ST. CLAIR about the transformation of a stunning historic 1901 schoolhouse into a modern luxury apartment community with schoolhouse aesthetics in Grosse Pte, MI. The featurette highlights the importance and value of “adaptive repurpose”—which she believes is a metaphor for everyone’s journey in life.  And finally, her rom-com novels are heating up as an international co-pro, because, well, The Funeral Planner never dies... stay tuned! 

In 2002, Isenberg began investing in multi-family apartment communities to build a passive income stream for creative and financial freedom. Along the way, she has invested in over 60 commercial real estate properties throughout the US, as LP, co-GP, as well as her role as co-founder and Managing Partner of Invigorate Fund Partners from 2016-2020.  She has participated in combined property values of a billion dollars. 

As CEO of Focus Media, Inc., Lynn works with private Family Offices to source, vet, and allocate capital into commercial real estate and proptech investment opportunities.  Isenberg has worked with high quality real estate firms in business development, capital advancement, deal sourcing, marketing, branding, communications, resident retention, and community enhancement. She is responsible for capital introductions of $60mm+ in private equity for multifamily and industrial outdoor storage investment opportunities.  She is also co-founder of a 200,000 sq ft multi-sports complex in Austin, TX. Previously, Lynn was a Managing Partner and co-founder of Invigorate Fund Partners which acquired and managed multi-family workforce housing achieving a 15% IRR in four years upon the firm’s final portfolio disposition.

She has over 22 years of combined experience as an investor, co-GP, business developer, marketer-brander, and managing partner in commercial real estate. She is a former studio executive turned writer/author/producer and founder of the critically acclaimed invitation only Hollywood LIT Retreats & Seminars (LIT:: Literature. Intelligence. Investing. Technology.) turned Focus Summit gatherings for Family Offices, Investors, General Partners, Service Providers, Brands, and Content Creators.  She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English Language, Literature & Film Studies, and an MBA & Entrepreneurial Studies audit and holds a Masters in Spiritual Psychology from USM. She is a CCIM candidate and member of various FO associations.

She is a recipient of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship Award.  She has engaged in hundreds of speaking engagements about her novels and is known as the founder of the Hollywood LIT Retreat and now Focus Summit.

Isenberg considers herself a citizen of the world, creating community wherever she is, while retreating in Austin’s Lago Vista, TX. She holds a Masters in Spiritual Psychology from USM, a BA in English Language, Literature & Film Studies, and MBA/Entrepreneurial Studies Audit from the University of Michigan.
