Cathy Rasenberger is Founder and President of Rasenberger Media LLC. (www.rasenbergermedia.com), a leading media industry consulting for 28 years providing business development, outsourced management and strategic advisory services for traditional and digital media-related companies. Founded in 1998, Rasenberger Media has been retained by over 100 companies to provide strategic advice on the evolving media landscape, including new business and media investment opportunities, market entry and expansion strategies, strategic partnerships and acquisitions, and new cable and streaming network launches. Rasenberger’s success ratio for helping develop and build sustainable new business ventures in the media space has firmly established her as one of the most highly respected industry consultants. Since its inception, Rasenberger Media has specialized in helping media companies develop, launch and distribute cable and streaming television networks. To date, Rasenberger has successfully helped launch more than 25 leading Cable TV networks and 20+ FAST channels including AccuWeather, Newsmax, TV One, Al Jazeera, Outside TV, Outdoor Channel, MGMHD, Universal Sports, PBS Nature, Newsworld Intl., TRIO, RFD-TV, Cowboy Channel, PFLMMA, Universal Music, WNET ARTS, and many more. Rasenberger is also a Co-Founder and President of Sports Studio, Inc. which owns and operates FreeLiveSports.tv, the leading free all-sports streaming platform with 125+ sports channels, 1000s of hours of sports-related VOD, and available in 75 countries. Sports Studio also operates a managed services and syndication business which develops, monetizes and distributes O&O and third-party sports FAST channels to Telcos, CTV platforms and STB operators with a reach of 80M HHs globally. Prior to founding Rasenberger Media, Rasenberger was part of the founding team of the Food Network, which she helped launch and build it from a concept thru its eventual sale to E.W. Scripps as SVP Distribution and Affiliate Marketing. Previously, Rasenberger held senior management positions at ESPN, TV Guide, Warner Bros TV and Cablevision Magazine. Rasenberger is a recognized Cable and Streaming industry expert and a frequent moderator and speaker on industry panels, including Stream TV, NAB, Cynopsis ScreenShift, NEXT TV, TVOTNYC, OTT.X, Streaming Media, Marketecture Live, and more. In recognition for her industry contributions, Rasenberger has been included in CableFax “Top 100 Heavy Hitters”, “Most Powerful Women” multiple times, and inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers. Rasenberger holds a BA from Harvard.
