Ted holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University. Through the entirety of his career, he’s been dedicated to media creation and its deployment. The author has held leadership roles in Engineering and Product Development with Sony Corporation, Pacific Research & Engineering, Harris Broadcast, and GatesAir.

Ted has a history of direct contribution to AES, SMPTE and ATSC standards. Ted’s experience has spanned a wide variety of disciplines, providing leadership over networked equipment architectures, human factors, digital modulations, hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and industrial design.

Ted’s personal heroes are Claude Shannon, Marshall McLuhan and Dilbert.
