Thijs Lowette is a Product Lead at Philo where he oversees the video playback experience. The OTT component that he is most passionate about is the quality of the video player experience and how that component translates into customer satisfaction and engagement. Prior to joining Philo, Thijs was active in the B2B OTT industry for more than 6 years serving as a Principal Solutions Architect at THEO Technologies, where he collaborated with over one hundred OTT services getting their products to the next level. Additionally, Thijs held software engineer roles at Eventory.be and Kayzr, as well as creating Trissen.be, a web platform for college students. He also maintains an industry blog called ottball.com. Thijs holds an M.S. in Applied Computer Science from the University of Leuven.
