Zander Berlinski is a senior vice president, strategy and business development at DAZN, the fastest growing global OTT sports streaming service. Berlinski joined DAZN in 2018 as the company’s first strategy hire in North America, leading its strategy efforts in the U.S. and Canadian markets. Since then, Berlinski has held numerous roles at the company and currently leads strategy and business developments across its global platform. He recently launched channels business including the global NFL Game Pass partnership. Key responsibilities of his remit include rights strategy & valuation, P&L ownership, assisting in the negotiation of distribution partnerships, and overall platform strategy to grow DAZN’s revenues.
Prior to DAZN, Berlinski spent four and a half years at Goldman Sachs in its Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) investment banking group where he advised clients on variety of strategic and financial initiatives. Having advised on transactions such as Twenty-First Century Fox’s sale to Disney; Major League Baseball Advanced Media’s sale to Disney; and Charter Communications’ acquisition of Time Warner Cable and Brighthouse Networks, Berlinski has a deep knowledge of the sports, cable, streaming, and media industries and the ways in which they converge.
