Moji Solgi is the Director of Engineering for Artificial Intelligence at Axon, the global leader in connected law enforcement technologies. Solgi joined Axon from Uber where he was a Senior Tech Lead for the Sensing, Inference and Perception group. While there, he leveraged his machine learning expertise to create real-time computer vision solutions and distributed software systems for Uber's ongoing efforts to improve its maps data and advance its self-driving car technologies. Before taking his position at Uber's Advanced Technology Center, Solgi spent time researching geospatial machine learning as a scientist at Microsoft, prior to which he worked as a researcher at the Toyota Research Institute while earning his Ph.D. in machine learning from Michigan State University.
