Bill Zurat leads the Core Media team at BAMTECH MEDIA, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.  His team is responsible for building scalable live/vod backend video streaming solutions for partners and clients ranging from MLB, NHL, WWE, and Sony PSVue to name a handful. He joined BAMTECH MEDIA by way of MLBAM in 2007, having previously been at WFMU, a freeform radio station based in Jersey City, NJ. For five years at WFMU, Bill was the Senior Systems Administrator (and a DJ) responsible for designing, building and supporting a live 24/7/365 audio streaming solution for their FCC licensed broadcast content and specialty DJ programs while managing the digital archives for every show since 2001. 

Bill is a graduate of Fordham University where he studied English Literature and Philosophy while settling issues within a pragmatic framework. An unapologetic media consumer, he regularly can be found digging in the used record bins at the few surviving dusty music stores or streaming obscure Soviet-era Eastern European movies
