Imran Maskatia serves as the VP of Product Development for Evoca TV, a next-gen television service. In addition, he is an active investor and advisor to startups in the consumer technology and media space. Before that, he was the SVP of Engineering at Ooyala, a cloud video services platform. He also founded and led Product Management for Redbox Instant, a joint venture between Redbox and Verizon and led software engineering and program management teams at Microsoft. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University focusing in Human-Computer Interaction. He has been named as an inventor on 30+ issued and pending patents. He enjoys community activism, making ice cream, and playing with his daughters.
