Virtual Video Summit 2020 Presents an IBC Alternative

Live This Week: October 14 & 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EDT

Denver, CO(12 Oct 2020)

Hosted by the 16 companies of the Video Technology Consortium, the Virtual Video Summit is a two-day online conference covering the latest in technology and industry trends. The event is being held October 14 & 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT.  Attendance is free and registration is available here.

Offered as an alternative for IBC, the international conference held every fall, this year's summit theme is "Panels and Presentations."  According to event moderator Chris Hogan,  "We have a packed agenda Wednesday and Thursday covering everything from COVID-accelerated use cases and technology to the timeless streaming best practices. I'm excited for our lineup of experts and end users to unpack these topics."

Available globally and free to all attendees, the summit is a come-and-go virtual trade show with main stage presentations, Q&A break out sessions, a full vendor expo, and speed networking. All of those in the business of streaming are encouraged to attend and connect just as we have for years in Amsterdam.

The Video Technology Consortium was founded by eight top video technology companies in March of 2020 shortly after the onset of the COVID pandemic. It has since doubled in size. The consortium’s mission is to hold events online that promote interaction and collaboration among companies in the video streaming ecosystem.
