VIDIZMO’s Artificial Intelligence addressing challenges of Big Video Data

VIDIZMO is making the most of artificial intelligence in an age of Big Data and Regulations.

New York City, New York(08 May 2019)

Today, VIDIZMO (www.vidizmo.com), a live and on-demand video streaming platform & portal solution, recognized in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Video Content Management, announced its new Artificial Intelligence (https://www.vidizmo.com/vidizmo-artificial-intelligence-solutions/) features through its App model. VIDIZMO’s v6 platform uses an App model to add further video processing, workflows, and integrations with external system rapidly making it easier to add new features to the platform. The new VIDIZMO platform provides deployment flexibility to the customers and partners with the ability to host VIDIZMO platform, data and content anywhere in the world, any cloud or on-premises, using its powerful hybrid deployment models. The flexibility enables enterprise customers to meet increasing challenges with Government, Industry, Geographic compliances, regulations related to security, privacy such as HIPPA, GDPR in different parts of the world.

These new features include Face detection and Object detection (for carrying out redaction and annotation) and Object Search. Along with Analytics such as Sentiment-Based Analysis based on speech and visual text. Other possibilities include Emotional-Based Analysis on keyword and tonal detection, Audio Search for recognizing speakers.

The industry is facing many challenges due to regulations and desire to search large volumes of video-related data:

  • The searching of unstructured video data would return a large number of irrelevant or unrelated results.
  • Conducting more complicated searches using multiple dimensional data such as ‘who said what, when and where’ involves searching for a person, making a statement at a particular geographical location. This type of search will involve facial recognition, speaker recognition, and geodata. Another example may include finding an object at geolocation in a video shot by drone.
  • Classification of video data by enterprises to ensure that video data was not locked away unnecessarily (limiting its potential to provide valuable information) but equally that it doesn’t present a security or privacy risk to any individual or company.

“Based on market feedback, that customers are facing challenges in finding related information in video and digital media content, a challenge now solvable with Artificial Intelligence, VIDIZMO is looking into the future by ensuring that its customers have access to AI capabilities, delivered through high responsiveness, single page application, and user-centric experience. Faceted search allows finding information in different dimensions such as who said what, when, and other environments around the person, such as using geolocation or other metadata stored in a video,” said VIDIZMO’s CEO Nadeem Khan.
