Hybrik Announces Support for NAGRA NexGuard Forensic Watermarking

Allows identification and tracking of high-value media assets

Mountain View, CA(24 Apr 2018)

Hybrik, Inc. today announced its cloud-based media processing now supports the embedding of NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarks into on-demand content.

NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company, is the world's leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions. NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarking protects high-value content against illicit redistribution throughout its entire lifecycle, which encompasses Pre-Release, Digital Cinema, B2B, and B2C distribution. Hybrik customers can now include watermark embedding as part of their complete cloud media workflow.

“Performing watermarking in the cloud allows for a major increase in scale for our clients,” said Jean-Philippe Plantevin, NAGRA Vice President Anti-Piracy. “Utilizing cloud processing removes the on-premise bottleneck and allows for watermarking to be applied to a far greater percentage of media assets."

“One of the most requested features we have had is forensic watermarking,” said David Trescot, CEO of Hybrik. “NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarking allows our customers to add a layer of security to their assets as they move through the distribution pipeline.”
