Picture of Adnan VirkAdnan Virk is a seasoned sports television host with nearly two decades of experience in a variety of North American sports. Virk is currently the host of DAZN’s first daily studio program ChangeUp, a live MLB whip-around show covering all of the biggest plays and most enthralling stories from around the league, all season long. DAZN’s ChangeUp is a co-produced alongside MLB Network, where Virk makes frequent appearances in addition to contributing to coverage on NHL Network. At DAZN, Virk moonlights as the host of the network’s biggest boxing events, such as fights headlined by pound-for-pound stars Canelo Alvarez, Gennadiy “GGG’ Golovkin and Anthony Joshua. In addition to his work at DAZN, Virk hosts two podcasts on Cadence13, The GM Shuffle with Mike Lombardi and Adnan Virk, an all-encompassing show that tackles a wide range of topics within the world of the NFL, and Cinephile with Adnan Virk, a weekly podcast reviewing the newest films and latest television. Prior to joining DAZN, Virk worked in a variety of roles at ESPN for nearly nine years beginning in 2010. While at ESPN, he was one of the main anchors for the award-winning studio show Baseball Tonight, and hosted SportsCenter and Outside the Lines during the offseason. Before his time in Bristol, Virk worked with Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment as a host and reporter for the Raptors, Leafs and Gol TV in Canada, hosted several programs on The Score in Canada and served as an associate producer for Sportscentre at TSN. Virk has hosted coverage on some of sports biggest stages including the World Series, CFB National Championships, NBA All-Star Games, the NCAA’s Final Four and the historic heavyweight championship upset by Andy Ruiz, Jr. over Anthony Joshua. Adnan Virk was born in Toronto and studied Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University in Toronto. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four sons.
