Brett Mertens has more than 20 years of experience in project management, application development and support, with a focus on video streaming and content delivery networks. Currently he is a Senior Product Manager for Limelight’s Core Technologies team. Prior to joining Limelight, Brett served for 4 years as a Senior Product Manager at Internap.  His responsibilities included the Internap CDN, MIRO IP platform and Managed DNS product. Brett served as Director of North American Infrastructure Operations at Kit Digital, and also worked with Multicast Media as Director of Engineering where he oversaw an average of 4500 live-streaming events per month in addition to building and managing a satellite downlink and transcode facility.
