Imagine Communications and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Partner
Global video infrastructure company Imagine Communications and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced a partnership that combines sales and support for their products.
The plan is an expansion of the two company's existing relationship, and brings their products together in multiple ways. HPE will resell Imagine's product portfolio to its global network of buyers, while Imagine will optimize its core products for HPE's hardware.
HPE will resell Imagine's playout, networking, distribution and ad management solutions. The companies say this creates a framework for HPE's content management system (CMS) and channel partners to sell the Imagine portfolio, as well.
By pooling their efforts, Imagine and HPE give media companies one-stop shopping for hardware, sales, and support.
Imagine will migrate its core products to HPE hardware platforms. Optimizing its media solutions for HPE's computing and storage products will lead to price and performance improvements for customers, the companies say.
This agreement expands on a partnership between Imagine and HPE from April 2015. Since then, their products have been integrated in several commercial deployments around the world, the companies say.
