Streaming Media West Is Back--Live, In-Person, In Huntington Beach

Streaming Media West returns to Huntington Beach November 15-16, with Streaming Media University Workshops on November 14. Registration is open now.

It's been three years since we've gotten together in person for Streaming Media West, and four years since we've been at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. We might be biased, but we think it's the best place in the country to have conference. The venue is great … the beach is right across the Pacific Coast Highway … and of course, there are the fish tacos.

Oh, there's also the conference, which takes place November 15-16. We're also probably biased there, but we think we've put together one of our strongest programs yet, with panels and presentations that really dig in to help you solve the biggest challenges facing OTT services, live streamers, and video for education and business. We're really focusing on cutting-edge stuff this time, with sessions on Web3, real-time video, adtech challenges, and the metaverse, just to name a few. Plus, we'll be presenting original research on the state of the streaming industry and the state of enterprise video.

We just announced our first keynote, too: Danielle Carney, Head of NFL Sales for Amazon Ads, is going to talk about what's gone into making Prime Video and Twitch the home of Thursday Night Football. We'll be announcing more keynotes soon.

On Monday, November 14, we've got four great pre-conference workshops as part of our regular Streaming Media University program. Jan Ozer will be taking a deep dive into advanced codec implementation, Nadine Krefetz will be walking attendees through how to set up a FAST service, and Robert Reinhardt is doing double duty, with a morning workshop in integrating NDI from videoconferencing platforms in the morning, and an advanced-level workshop about FFMpeg 5.0 in the afternoon.

As if that wasn't enough, Monday, November 14 also sees the first-ever west coast edition of the Content Delivery Summit.

Registration is open now for all events, and there are plenty of combination passes to make sure you get to attend everything you want to, including our legendary beer garden and networking events. (If you just want to register for Content Delivery Summit, click here.)

So join us on the beach for Streaming Media West!
