Track 3
In association with the MPEG 4 Industry Forum (M4IF) the Streaming Media West 2002 Conference Program includes a one-day track dedicated to the MPEG-4 standard and how it can be implemented today.
The MPEG-4 sessions, held on Thursday, April 25, provide attendees with the opportunity for Q & A with the international experts, a technical overview and an introduction to products that can be employed now. The sessions offer essential information for all those spending or making money on streaming and digital media.
The MPEG-4 standard has been gestating since 1993, and only now are we beginning to see complete products based on the standard entering the marketplace. The long design period has resulted in a deep, rich elegant technology with the potential to change the way the world communicates in as profound a manner as any of us can imagine, and perhaps in ways that none of us have yet begun to imagine. This forum will educate and inform you on the current specifications of MPEG-4, guidelines for it’s use, and it’s significance to your business.
REGISTER: The MPEG-4 Forum is included in the price of a Full Conference Pass or Streaming Media/Internet World Super Pass. Alternatively it can be purchased as a One Day Conference Pass.
