Cedar Rapids, IA (August 24, 2004) - StratosFour, Inc., a leading digital media company, has released a PowerPoint Add-In for the StratosFour Webcasting application.
The StratosFour PowerPoint Add-In integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint® and communicates directly with the StratosFour Webcasting application. This allows presenters to advance slides during a live webcast directly from PowerPoint.
“The biggest advantage of the PowerPoint Add-In, is that it gives the on-stage presenter complete control over their webcast slides without leaving PowerPoint,” said Glen Wiebel, President and CEO of StratosFour. “Presenters no longer need to have another person backstage advancing the slides for the webcast audience on a separate interface. When the presenter clicks to the next slide for the in-room audience, the PowerPoint Add-In communicates with the webcasting application and makes sure that the Internet audience receives the correct slide at the correct time. It’s completely transparent to the presenter.”
Other features of the StratosFour PowerPoint Add-In include: secure password-protected access, the ability to upload and convert slides directly from PowerPoint, and the ability to confirm that the latest version of the presentation has been uploaded.
