World famous annual cultural event expands into leading online cultural arts pay-per-view destination
Seattle, WA (February 16, 2004) - thePlatform and the Tourism and Industrial Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (TIDCO) today announced the launch of Carnival Live! 2004. Launched in 1996 as Carnival on De Net, Carnival Live! is the Internet destination and online video site for Trinidad and Tobago’s premier annual Carnival event. Over the years the site has developed a loyal following, and evolved from a limited web site to a sophisticated technology initiative – now powered by thePlatform - that is a showcase of Caribbean culture.
Trinidad and Tobago are the southernmost islands of the Caribbean – approximately 12 miles off the coast of Venezuela.
