While many can agree that streaming media will stimulate convergence, there is still an open debate on what will constitute convergence. We will first explore two types of convergence: platform convergence, where different networks and devices (mobile, TV, PC) are used to access entertainment services, and industry convergence, where new roles and players emerge in the value chain.
