Before registering, please take a moment to determine if you qualify for press credentials.
PRESS CREDENTIALS
The Streaming Media Conventions are attended by a number of domestic and international journalists from a wide variety of respected publications and organizations; Please be aware that full conference press passes will be given to all those that qualify as members of the press or analyst community. Streaming Media, Inc. reserves the right to screen all requests, including on-site registration, and if necessary, refuse to register individuals who do not qualify.
Your Press Credentials
As a member of the working press attending Streaming Media East 2001, you have full access to:
- Exhibit halls
- Keynote addresses
- Press conferences
- The press center
- All conference forums and conference sessions
REGISTRATION CRITERIA
To qualify for press credentials, you must:
- be affiliated with a nationally or regionally
- recognized media outlet, and;
- hold an editorial title, or;
- hold a position as an industry analyst
To obtain your press credentials at the show, you must
present either:
- Your media outlet's masthead, stationary or business card, with your name and editorial title. Industry, local press, or business press official press cards, such as those issued by the Computer Press Association, are accepted.
- A by-lined article written by you, and published within the last six months.
- A letter of assignment requesting access to Streaming Media East 2001. This letter must be from an appropriate publication and signed by an editor of that publication.
- Freelance journalists, photographers, or videographers must provide a letter from a recognized media outlet stating that the freelancer has been retained to cover Streaming Media East 2001. The letter must be from an appropriate media outlet and on their stationary.
You do not qualify for press credentials if you are:
- a publisher
- a sales rep
- a freelance photographer
- any other non-editorial personnel
- a representative of a personal website
PHOTOGRAPHY
To ensure the safety of everyone attending the Convention, please adhere to the following photography guidelines:
- Only cordless cameras are allowed on the Exhibition Floor.
- Set up video cameras and cameras on tripods in the press area during the keynote address.
- A riser and mult-box will be provided in the keynote room.
- No photography of any kind will be allowed in the Conference Sessions.
