Amir Majidimehr is the General Manager of Digital Media Everywhere team at Microsoft where he manages Audio & Video Compression, Consumer Video Editing (Windows "Movie Maker"), Technical relationship with non-PC/Consumer Electronics vendors, and the Deployment team for top content providers. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Majidimehr held Vice President roles at VXtreme (a streaming start-up acquired by Microsoft in 1997), Pinnacle Systems, and Scitex Digital Video (makers of television 3-D effects systems). Before this, he lead the development of high-performance workstations as Sr. Director of Engineering at Sony Corporation.
