Mr. Baumeister is responsible for Strategic
Alliances in a newly formed Philips business
targeting multimedia streaming over IP
networks, aptly named "MP4Net", and is
currently based in Sunnyvale, CA.

He joined Philips in 1995, moved to
Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Philips'
hometown and headquarters at the time, and
held various management positions in
consumer electronics and multimedia.

Through these and previous experiences at
Eastman Kodak Company's headquarters in
Rochester, NY, and their subsidiary in
Stuttgart, Germany, Mr. Baumeister has an
extensive background in imaging and consumer
electronics.

A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Mr.
Baumeister has a degree ("Dipl. Ing.") in
electrical engineering.

His strong interest in IP-delivered
multimedia is rooted in his conviction that -
eventually - most if not all content will
be delivered via general purpose IP networks.
