So Yun Jung Maryn, manager of new media and development for BT Broadcast Services, the Americas, has over seven years experience in the production and delivery of webstreaming events.

Igniting BTBS’ webstreaming platform - BT Mediastream - into a fully operational solution, So Yun manages its global production and delivery to clients such as Major League Baseball, the New York Stock Exchange and Unisys Corporation.

So Yun also manages the research and development of BTBS’ video production solutions, evaluating software and hardware vendors and content delivery networks. She has extensive experience in acquisition, on and off site encoding, and distribution methodologies and processes.

Prior to joining BT Broadcast Services in October 2001, So Yun produced the streaming services for content providers at PanAmSat. These included Warner Brothers and the Sundance Film Festival.

So Yun holds a BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and is currently attending the University of Maryland, where she will receive her MBA in 2007.
