As Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Synacor, George Chamoun is responsible for product development.

Prior to founding Synacor, Chamoun was Founder and CEO of Chek, Inc., a technology company that provided private label e-mail for ISPs and major brands including BlueLight, Major League Baseball, Crayola and over 100 other companies. In 2001, Chamoun merged Chek, Inc. with MyPersonal to create Synacor, the country’s leading provider of private-label portals and technology supporting the delivery of bundled online subscription services.

Named Upstate New York Ernst & Young’s “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” in 1999, Chamoun is a graduate of the University at Buffalo.
