Scott Cunningham, Multimedia Technologies Manager for the USA TODAY Media Laboratory, is responsible for leveraging the audio/video portion USA TODAY’s rich media content and advertising initiatives on USATODAY.com and other digital extensions. From mobile content acquisition to unique distributed storytelling vehicles, Scott’s focus has been to extend USA TODAY’s enterprise stories and packaging into the ‘unknown’ domain, wired and wireless. His recent onsite production work includes the 2000 Republican and Democratic Conventions, Sydney 2000 Olympics, and the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics. Scott’s primary research interests include extending audio/video news information to intelligent display types, its impact on story’s perception, and revenue generated models associated with mass distributed news information.
