Streaming Media Inc. is delighted to invite senior business and tech executives from the streaming media industry to submit themselves for speaking opportunities for our Asian Flag Ship Event! This will be the largest conference and exhibition ever dedicated to the streaming media industry in the Asian region.
We would like to invite leading industry executives and innovative entrepreneurs to keynote, provide general session speeches and participate in panel discussions at Streaming Media Asia 2001. This is not a call for speakers or papers, however, we do welcome speaker proposals.
What does Streaming Media look for in a speaker?
In deciding on speaker proposals, we look for industry insiders with vision and influence - speakers are almost always senior-level executives from companies in the streaming media and related industries. In particular, we look for speakers who are industry pioneers or have interesting business strategies or case studies to discuss. We endeavor to avoid companies and individuals who are known for giving vendor sales pitches of any kind!
If you submit a speaker request and a particular Conference session is not specified, we'll consider the proposed speaker for any sessions we deem appropriate.
What is the deadline for submitting proposals?
We don't have specific proposal submission deadlines, however, we generally invite speakers about 5 months before a Convention and aim to confirm the final program about 1 month prior to the Convention.
How will I know if a proposed speaker has been selected?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of speaker proposals received by Streaming Media, we're only able to notify successful applicants. However, we do keep all proposals and re-consider them when planning future events.
If your Speaker submission is Selected
1) You will be contacted by a member of the Streaming Media staff. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
2) You will be promoted in the Event Show Guide distributed to all attendees, exhibitors and members of the press.
3) You will have full admittance to all Conference sessions, the Exhibition floor and the industry parties.
4) You will be required to provide reasonable additional information as requested by Streaming Media (such as full contact details, photos, bios, etc.).
5) You may be responsible for providing Streaming Media with a master copy of your presentation.
Please Note: Streaming Media Inc. does not pay honorarium, travel expenses or reimbursement fees of any kind.
Substitution Policy:
Speaker substitutions are not permitted, except in the case of an emergency, and are subject to approval by Streaming Media Inc. In the event a speaker cannot fulfill his/her commitment, the presenting company will not be guaranteed a speaking slot for an alternate representative.
