Dr. James Stigler, founder and former chairman, will remain as a director on Digital Lava's board and will devote more time to his startup venture, LessonLab.
Stigler says that hiring Greene has been good for the company. "Since his tenure began less than nine months ago,” he says “Bob has literally turned Digital Lava around. His strategic vision and drive is leading Digital Lava to the next level.”
Greene was appointed chief executive officer of Digital Lava in June of 1999. Since joining the company, Greene has re-focused the company's business model to reflect a more service-related strategy, more like an application service provider (ASP).
