Panasonic and Matrox Demo Panasonic AW-HE130 PTZ Camera Feeding IP Streams to Matrox H.264 Decoders at Infocomm 2015

Panasonic AW-HE130 pan/tilt/zoom cameras are ideal for demanding video-over-IP applications in sports, rental/staging, news and enterprise to transmit multi-stream H.264 HD video and audio at up to 1080/60p at 25Mbps

Matrox® Graphics Inc. and Panasonic will feature live demonstrations of the new Panasonic AW-HE130 PTZ camera feeding high-quality IP streams to Matrox H.264 decoders.

In the Panasonic booth 1501, a Matrox Maevex™ H.264 decoder will be used to decode and display a live camera feed, showcasing the AW-HE130’s exceptional-quality capture and transmission in its best light.

In the Matrox booth 4053, the AW-HE130 will be used as one of the IP sources feeding streams to new, high-density Matrox Mura™ IPX 4K capture and IP encode/decode boards. In this first-ever demonstration, Mura IPX will capture a variety of baseband and IP sources as Mura MPX video wall processor cards power a 2x2, 1920x1080 installation. Mura IPX will also encode the outputs in the same controller system, then, in a separate appliance, decode them alongside content originating on a C-Series-powered video wall. The decoded content will ultimately be displayed on a single C680-powered UHD monitor, illustrating the ability to stream and monitor (or record) an entire video wall anywhere on the network.

Matrox Maevex H.264 decoders provide cost-effective AV over IP decoding. Solid state, fanless design and low power requirements make Maevex a stable, reliable decode solution and the Matrox PowerStream control software and API let administrators control Maevex decoders from a centralized location, as well as easily change Panasonic camera streams output from given decoders.

Matrox Mura IPX Series is a new line of 4K capture and IP encode/decode boards that let OEMs and AV system builders deliver advanced video wall controllers featuring high-quality, low-bitrate, multi-channel 4K or HD encoding and decoding over standard IP.

Both Panasonic and Matrox products offer IP control mechanisms for easy device management from remote locations.
