Wowza Media Server 2 Integration in Dalet Enterprise Edition Media Asset Management (MAM) Platform Enables New Streaming and Asset Review Features

Wowza Media Server 2, the unified media server software that simultaneously delivers content to any media platform and any screen, is now integrated into Dalet Enterprise Edition Media Asset Management (MAM) under a licensing agreement announced today by Wowza Media Systems.
The integration of Wowza Media Server 2 adds market-proven streaming capabilities to the Dalet MAM platform's already powerful functionality, which includes shot selection, rough-cut editing, quick timeline preview, asset logging, and metadata definition. With integrated Wowza Media Server 2, DaletPlus Webspace Flash client users will enjoy new capabilities including easy preview of H.264-encoded assets using trick play features like frame-accurate fast forward and rewind.
