Vizigy Announces Interactive Exercises & Exams for Video

Vizigy Interactive (“Vizigy”) announces a new Interactive Exercises that enable you to embed quizzes and exams in videos extending the power of video for training and educational applications

San Jose, CA(26 Aug 2015)

Vizigy's new interactive exercise application for video training gives you the ability to create and embed various user response features such as interactive exercises, quizzes and tests incorporated within video content managed by the Vizigy video content management platform.

According to Randy Whiting, CEO of Vizigy Interactive, “The value of interactive exercises comes from encouraging users to respond to questions and engage in activities during the course of viewing videos. This results in more time spent viewing videos, greater retention of information and key messages in the video content, and valuable insight into the performance of your videos.”

With the Interactive Exercise add-on module, you can create an unlimited number of exercises and embed them anywhere within a video module. Before the video, in between video chapters or at the end. Within an exercise, you can create any number of multiple choice or true/false questions. You can also easily and quickly edit questions and change the order they're presented.

Configure exercises so the user can pause and return to a exercise later or if the quiz must be completed all at once. Set passing grade levels for each individual exercise, or you can set it to not be graded. Display results after each question or at the end of the exercise

The module records and displays the user's progress through the exercise. Restrict or allow the user to review and modify any of their responses in the exercise before submitting the results as well as either restrict or allow the user to redo an exercise

You can create grade-based incentive programs. Such as skills certification programs, where the user receives a special certificate after completing a set of videos and exercises with a minimum passing score.

It also features a comprehensive reporting system allows you to track results by user or by exercise as well as tracking individual responses by question or by user. And output the results to your favorite LMS.

The Vizigy Interactive Exercises add-on can be used within video to get viewer feedback on content, reinforce key messages, track progress and test understanding of content. It can also be used to create gateways to new areas of content and test to determine if viewers successfully complete a set of lessons, or acquire a new skill.

According to Whiting, “Interactive exercises are perfect for situations where you want a viewer to respond to 1 or more questions before, during or after a video module as a part of formal training programs, self-paced how-to tutorials, marketing and product information as well as product support.”
