FBE Unveils Newest Slate of Pilots and Development Projects in Partnership with Fly on the Wall Entertainment, JASH and Eko

Los Angeles, CA(03 Oct 2018)

FBE, an award-winning media company and studio that creates programming for a global audience across digital and traditional platforms, announces today its latest slate of television development and co-production deals including an unscripted docu-series with Fly on the Wall Entertainment, a weekly news series with digital comedy studio JASH, and an epic live-action college comedy series with interactive storytelling platform Eko.

“We’re proud to partner with Fly on the Wall, JASH and Eko on these new series and announce development on Co-Conspirator with Amanda Werner, who continues to drive headlines and conversation around important issues,” says Brandie Tucker, FBE Head of Alternative Television .  “This new slate reinforces our commitment to creating programming that brings communities together, further realizing our vision of what the future of entertainment looks like across platforms.”

Information on the development slate includes the following projects:

  • Co-Conspirator - FBE is in development on the original, unscripted series Co-Conspirator, starring renowned political activist Amanda Werner, aka the "Monopoly Man," as they rally co-conspiring activists to stand up to the state of politics through absurd public stunts.  Amanda made headlines in fall 2017 after photobombing a Senate hearing on the Equifax data breach, dressed as “Monopoly” mascot Rich Uncle Pennybags and again in April, dressed up as a “Russian Troll” doll during Mark Zuckerberg’s Senatee hearing for Facebook.

  • Epic Night - Continuing its relationship with interactive storytelling platform Eko, FBE brings Epic Night - the new, immersive, interactive comedy series which follows people-pleaser Martin and his college friends as they plan one last epic night together before heading out into the real world. Viewers will serve as an integral part of this crazy adventure by making the choices and guiding recent-graduate Martin through a single epic night where he, best friend Lillis, and longtime crush Jess must navigate several obstacles on their way to the party of the year.

  • Our Family Rules - FBE and Fly on the Wall Entertainment are teaming up for Our Family Rules, a co-production that gives a front row seat into the daily life of the Wallaces. Arizona parents Jared and Shelly Wallace always knew they wanted a big family, so in addition to their two biological children, the Wallaces have reunited multiple sibling groups who are often split up in foster care and adopted them into their family. With twenty kids all under one roof, Jared and Shelly stick to a rule book to keep their chaotic house in order.

  • Everything’s Happened Before - A weekly satirical news show produced in partnership with JASH, the digital comedy studio founded by Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and Reggie Watts, which was acquired by Group Nine Media in late 2017, for a weekly satirical news show. Tentatively titled “Everything’s Happened Before,” the series, which is slated to release in 2019 in partnership with NowThis, delves into the biggest global news stories, but with a keen eye on uncovering their parallels in past history - perhaps showing us that if the world could learn from its mistakes, these various catastrophes may be avoided.

These new projects mark the company’s continued expansion into television and new, long-form format offerings. FBE has sold 15 television projects while also driving rapid growth across its multi-platform network, producing more than serialized shows every week for over 30 million subscribers.
