DramaFever brings the K-drama phenomenon to VRV
NEW YORK, NY(12/12/2017) -

Streaming video on demand service, DramaFever, is joining VRV’s lineup of premium SVOD channels and expertly-curated content experiences. A global leader in feel-good, universally appealing entertainment, DramaFever provides a wide-ranging slate of programming specializing in Korean dramas: romantic TV shows described by The New York Times as ‘strangely addictive… high end soap operas with eccentric plots and vivaciously slick production values.’ Its library, watched by a diverse and highly passionate millennial audience, will complement VRV’s roster of digitally driven next-gen entertainment available via mobile, web, and popular living room devices.

Just in time for holiday binge-watching, VRV subscribers have immediate access to DramaFever’s feel-good storylines and critically acclaimed shows including: the South Korean medical drama, Good Doctor, (recently adapted by David Shore for ABC), romantic comedies like My Secret Romance, and hilarious hit variety show, Running Man.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with VRV, particularly since we both share the same mission – to offer a growing fan base a seamless viewing experience for highly addictive and uniquely entertaining content from around the world,” said Rena Liu, GM, DramaFever.

“We are honored to partner with DramaFever, an established player in the SVOD space, whom we've been watching from afar for some time," said Eric Berman, Head of Partnerships for VRV. "They bring an immense amount of premium content from across the world, providing even more unique value to the VRV offering and further leveling-up our ability to serve passionate audiences."

DramaFever joins CuriosityStream, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth, Nerdist and other channels as part of VRV’s Premium offering for $9.99 a month, or as a stand-alone offering through VRV for $4.99 a month.
