VMIX Reaches Out to Customers of Maven Networks, Offers Easy Migration Path

Waives Transfer and Setup Fees for Existing Maven Accounts

San Diego, CA(01 Jul 2009)

VMIX (www.vmix.com), a leading online video platform provider, today announced a program to offer customers of Maven Networks (www.maven.net) the opportunity to migrate hosting and delivery of their media to the VMIX platform without any transfer or setup fees.

The statement came after Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) announced Monday that they will no longer support Maven's video platform and contracts, starting 2010, as reported in TechCrunch and later confirmed by Yahoo!. Yahoo! acquired Maven Networks, a player in the video distribution and advertising software arena, in February 2008.

"We know this may be a stressful time for Maven customers, who may be running with fewer staff," said Mike Glickenhaus, CEO at VMIX. "But we also know we can get them up and running well before the end of the year. And so we are waiving the usual consultation, setup and media transfer fees - which can be a substantial cost."

Glickenhaus added that VMIX has considerable experience supporting customers needing to migrate from other services, including Maven. "We know the Maven toolset well. We built our platform with a focus on easy-to-use tools and flexible advertising options, and we believe customers will find transition from Maven to the VMIX platform relatively easy and hassle-free."
