Tribeca Shortlist Offers Download for Offline Viewing Capability and Expanded Platform Availability

Expertly Curated Streaming Video Experience for Movie Lovers Now Available on the Roku Platform, Amazon Fire TV and iPhone; Meets Consumer Demand for Offline Viewing on Mobile Devices

NEW YORK (17 Dec 2015)

Tribeca Shortlist, the new premium subscription video on demand service created by Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, and Tribeca Enterprises announced today that all of its carefully curated film catalog is available for offline download and viewing on mobile devices, giving movie fans more freedom to watch movies anytime or anywhere they choose.

The company also announced that it has increased user accessibility by expanding the service to popular in-home streaming entertainment products including select Roku players* and Roku TV models, Amazon Fire TV and the nearly 100 million active iPhones in the United States. Tribeca Shortlist is also available as a subscription to Amazon Prime members for $4.99 per month on hundreds of devices through Amazon Video. Tribeca Shortlist has been available on iPad and the Web (at www.tribecashortlist.com) since its launch.

“Expanding to these thriving streaming platforms and devices reinforces Tribeca Shortlist’s commitment to give film lovers an easy way of finding quality movies through informed recommendations and now more ubiquitous access,” said Tribeca Shortlist President Jeff Bronikowski. “Offline viewing is also a game-changer for users that want to utilize our expert Shortlist suggestions or watch a great film on the go when they’re anywhere with limited or no Internet connectivity.”

Tribeca Shortlist users are now able to download the service’s films and available Shortlists for offline viewing to their iOS-based tablets or phones, with up to five devices authorized at any time.  The service, including support for downloads, is coming to Android devices early next year.

Launched in October, Tribeca Shortlist’s mission is to offer movie fans a more curated method of discovering and enjoying great films from all genres. The service is powered by an expertly handpicked library of roughly 150 critically acclaimed films, with about a third of the titles refreshed on a monthly basis, and themed Shortlist video recommendations from filmmakers, insiders and leading voices in culture and entertainment called Shortlisters.

Shortlisters featured on the service include: Actors Alec Baldwin, John Leguizamo and Abigail Spencer, directors Derek Cianfrance and Morgan Spurlock, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart, actress and model Yaya DaCosta and fitness expert Bob Harper.

The Tribeca Shortlist apps for Roku players and Roku TV models and Amazon Fire TV were built by Ratio, a multi-screen design and development agency based in Seattle, WA. The iPhone app was built by Slate Studio, a leading product design and development firm based in Venice, CA. Download capability is powered by Saffron Digital, a global provider of premium multi-platform video delivery services.

*Supported Roku devices at launch include the Roku 4 (4400X), the Roku 3 (4200X and 4230X models), the Roku 2 (2015 model - 4210X) and Roku TV models. Support for additional Roku player models, including the Roku Streaming Stick, is coming soon.
