Total Webcasting™ has seen its business grow every year since beginning operations, and 2015 was no exception. With the addition of more new customers than any prior year, Total Webcasting™ has consistently beat the competition not only in price, but also with the wide range of features offered in every Webcast.
Total Webcasting continues to play a prominent role in support of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) providers. With Total Webcasting™ providing its services to the NYS Bar Association, the NYS Office of the Attorney General, The Connecticut Bar Association, and many law schools. One particular highlight in 2015 was a Webcast for the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities. This full day event conveyed helpful and important information to anyone living with, caring for, or working with people with developmental disabilities. Because travel is impossible for some of the target audience, a fully interactive live Webcast was a vital part of the focus. With 6 simultaneous live sessions all requiring live closed captions, participation by the viewers, secure registration, and 24-hour turnaround for on-demand availability, this was one of our most sophisticated Webcasts of the year.
2016 TAM? Development of TAM, our content management system, will continue in 2016 with the release of new features and enhancements. One new feature that we will release early in 2016 is the Mobile portal: a completely redesigned interface to customer portals and one-off events that we engineered for the viewing experience of using a smartphone or tablet. We expect the Mobile portal, which will be automatically selected for device viewers, will make it easier to navigate customer webcasts without losing access to any content. Also, Total Webcasting is expanding its relationship with IBM Softlayer, the data centers where TAM is deployed. By building in additional redundancy, Total Webcasting’s customers can continue to experience very fast and reliable delivery of their content.
2016 TW Mediacart? upgrades are on tap to raise the bar on Total Webcasting’s portable production system. The TW Mediacart has enabled Total Webcasting to bring to its customers very high end on site, multi camera production at a fraction of traditional costs. Through the efficiencies of the TW Mediacart, Total Webcasting can do much more with a single technician who can deliver from virtually any location. For 2016, live encoding will be an area of focus with the addition of new encoding appliances and redundant recording capabilities. Additionally, there will be new capabilities in the integration of traditional video conferencing, opening up new opportunities for remote presenters to be a part of a Webcast without leaving their office. This option will expand upon the current capabilities by offering a much higher quality, seamless experience for both viewers and presenters.
