StreamVu TV allows producers to stream live video to an unlimited number of locations and viewing stations. StreamVu TV also provides the ability to deliver Private Broadcasts. The Private Broadcast feature ensures that the Producer has complete control over who can gain access to view the content. Private Broadcasts can range from only one viewer to an unlimited number of viewers. All the system requires is a connection to StreamVu TV and a Marshall Electronics Producer Station. The Producer Station takes a video and audio signal and sends it out to StreamVu TV’s server. With that connection in place, users can tune into the broadcast on any computer.
The Producer Station is available either in standard definition with composite input (PS-11, $399), high definition HDMI input (PS-102-HDI., $999), or high definition HDSDI input (PS-102-HDSDI, $1,999). Encoders like these have traditionally been in the $7,000 range and up.
The StreamVuTV’s service can cost as little as $.50 GB of data transfer. These prices put this kind of service in the range that studios can afford. It features a “pay as you play” pricing plan, with no minimum data usage requirements.
