SRT Open Source Project Reaches Milestone with Sencore as 100th Member of the SRT Alliance
The SRT Open Source Project, the fastest growing open source video streaming movement, continues in its mission to make SRT the de facto standard for low latency video streaming

The SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) Open Source Project, dedicated to overcoming the challenges of low latency video streaming, announces that 30 new members have joined the initiative, including Sencore (a leader in digital video and audio delivery, transport and monitoring equipment for professional broadcast), bringing the total number of SRT Alliance members to 100.
The SRT Alliance’s rapid growth is a compelling indicator that SRT Open Source is gaining wide adoption and is well on its way to becoming a de facto standard for low latency, secure, reliable streaming over the internet, a natural alternative to RTMP and proprietary broadcast solutions. Some of the most recent new members, leaders in the broadcast and streaming community, include: AppearTV, AVIWEST, Encompass, Lumens, Sencore, and StreamGuys.
