Online Video Viewership Sparked by Super Bowl

New York, NY(07 Feb 2007)

The FeedRoom, a leading provider of online video technology and solutions, announced record breaking viewership results for Monday, February 5, stemming largely from video related to the Super Bowl. USA Today's Super Bowl Ad Meter alone yielded an increase in daily streams of more than 3,300%. "USA Today's results, along with our other clients who ran video stories about the Super Bowl led to our single largest day of streams over the last few years. It's a testament to the increasing power of online video as a medium unto itself," said Bart Feder, CEO of The FeedRoom.

The FeedRoom's media clients, including USA Today, The New York Times, and Lifetime all saw increased viewership. The FeedRoom's corporate customers, like HP, also realized the impact of featuring stories on the Super Bowl and Super Bowl ads, seeing increased streams coming from their online video site as well.
