Mogreet Launches AdStitch, the First Streamlined Platform to Monetize MMS Messages

AdStitch Enables Companies to Add Sponsored Video Clips to Beginning or End of MMS Video Messages

Los Angeles, CA(17 Jul 2012)

Mogreet<http://corp.mogreet.com/solutions-messaging>, the leader in mobile multimedia messaging for the delivery of high quality video to mobile phones, today announced the launch of its AdStitch mobile advertising<http://corp.mogreet.com/solutions-messaging> service. AdStitch is the first platform to streamline the process of combining advertisements with MMS video messages – making it simple to generate advertising revenue from opt–in MMS messaging campaigns.

AdStitch enables companies, such as those in the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, media and entertainment industries, to monetize mobile video content by selling advertising before and/or after (“pre or post roll”) MMS video messages. Users can upload a brief video advertisement within Mogreet’s Campaign Manager and use AdStitch to “stitch” the ad to a video being sent to their subscribers. The clip is then automatically transcoded and set to be delivered to a targeted mobile subscriber list via Mogreet’s MMS platform, the world’s largest commercial MMS platform.

“The monetization of text messaging has been a long-standing problem for marketers, and up until thispoint, there have not been any viable options,” said James Citron, CEO and co-founder of Mogreet. “AdStitch was built to solve this problem by enabling standard video ad units to be simply added to any MMS message, converting this channel into a revenue opportunity for publishers and providing a great opportunity for advertisers to extend their reach within a high-response medium.

AdStitch offers enormous value to advertisers and other partners by allowing them to include brief messages to a company’s existing mobile video marketing<http://corp.mogreet.com/solutions-messaging> content. This gives advertisers the benefit of reaching a targeted and engaged audience of consumers, who already opted-in to receive the clients’ mobile messages. Each AdStitch video ad clip is uniquely delivered with the presets optimized foreach carrier and each mobile handset. Carrier and handset optimization was developed by Mogreet in order to deliver the highest quality video and content to thousands of different mobile phones.

As a beta user of theservice, Cox Media Group’s Oakland, Calif. television station, KTVU, has already found value using AdStitch by offering advertisers more audience reach to the viewers who have opted-in to receive daily video MMS news alerts on their mobile phones.

"The ability to add pre-roll and post-roll ads in MMS videos has really brought the messaging technology into the modern age of mobile,” said Melissa Patterson, mobile manager at Cox Media Group. “It’s a huge go-to for monetization of mobile content, which is the name of the game right now."
