Kidoodle.TV Taps Top YouTube Content Creators to Bring More Quality Programs to Kids

Popular Children’s SVOD Service Makes Pact to Distribute Trio of Favorite Series in a Safe Digital Environment

Calgary, AB(18 Feb 2015)

A Parent Media Co. Inc. (“APMC”) today announced content partnerships with three top digital content creators for the company’s popular children’s SVOD platform, Kidoodle.TV. Youth favorites, “Alex & The Kaleidoscope” from True Blue Media Productions,  “Dinostory” from Rainbow Songs Inc., and “Tea Time with Tayla” from BrighterMoon Productions, will all be available on the user-friendly, customizable Kidoodle.TV service in the coming weeks.  Featuring a robust suite of parental controls, viewing time limits, curfews and more, Kidoodle.TV provides an exclusive safe viewing environment unavailable through other video on demand means.

“Feedback and data received from our users has made it clear – today’s kids demand diverse content not found on traditional television,” said Jared Dielwart, Chief Content Officer, A Parent Media Co. Inc. and Kidoodle.TV.  “This demand has led to the remarkable success of producers like these and we are thrilled to work with such talented creatives to bring this exciting content to our audience.”

Added Mike Lowe, President, A Parent Media Co. Inc. and Founder, Kidoodle.TV, “We want to always be at the forefront of offering unique and compelling video content for kids in a safe environment and by bringing these favorite programs to our platform, we’re able to do just that.  And this is only the beginning of what we’re planning to add to Kidoodle.TV in 2015.”

The content pacts will bring all three children’s favorites, with a combined YouTube viewership of over 74 million, to families without the risk of children inadvertently stumbling upon content parents don’t want them to see. The new agreements provide a second platform for producers to monetize their content, grow their communities, and generate additional revenue.  With high incentives and bonuses to creators whose programs engage audiences and drive viewership, APMC has developed a distinctive business model that benefits both the producer and the distribution platform.

“I am thrilled to join forces with the APMC team to bring ‘Tea Time with Tayla’ to  Kidoodle.TV,” said Dallas Morgan, producer for BrighterMoom Productions.  “Kids have proven how much they love the series and it is wonderful to have a platform that provides the assurance the show will be viewed in a safe environment, free of risk for our young audience.”

Brenda Bisner, CEO of Baby Toes Media, brokering agent for True Blue Media Productions  added, "APMC is transforming the children’s media space by delivering an innovative and adaptive platform which offers quality content to kids in a safe way while providing producers with CPM-based opportunities to further monetize their content. We believe Kidoodle TV is the perfect partner for the Alex & The Kaleidoscope brand because of their position in the digital landscape, matched with their reach, funding and vision."

“The democratization of video content through platforms like YouTube has made a tremendous impact on the industry,” said Mike Whitla, Director, Rainbow Songs, Inc.  “This change has provided a remarkable opportunity to truly let the audience determine the success of series like ‘Dinostory’ by clicking and viewing what they want to see.”
