Kanalturk Selects Erstream Powered by Octoshape Infinite HD-M for Broadband Delivered TV Services

Erstream, a Turkey-based media services provider, and Octoshape, an industry leader in cloud-based streaming technology, announced today that they have been chosen by Kanalturk to provide broadband TV video distribution services to Kanalturk’s customers in Turkey. The services are provided through Erstream, and powered by the Octoshape Infinite HD-M suite of multicast technologies, which enables Kanalturk to provide the highest video quality to their end users, and drive more video consumption from their portal.
The partnership leverages Octoshape’s Infinite HD-M federated multicast platform to enhance its linear service offerings into Turkey. Octoshape’s advanced video distribution technology provides high definition Internet video regardless of the geographic location, connectivity or network conditions of the viewer.
