Influxis Partners with Adobe for Flash Media Interactive Server 3

Upgrade Offers Enhanced Security and HD Quality Encoding for Real-Time Communications

Valencia, Calif.(17 Dec 2007)

Influxis, a specialist Flash Media Server hosting company, today announced a new partnership with Adobe in being a solution provider for hosting Flash Media Interactive Server 3 and is now offering a beta version to select customers in the US.

"Flash Media Interactive Server 3 lets you add value to your video by helping you monetize and socialize your videos," said Kevin Towes, product manager, Flash Media Server at Adobe. "Flash Media Interactive Server applications can be built for the browser, the Desktop, and the mobile device which all enhance the socializing of video."

Influxis was the first company to offer stand-alone RTMP hosting for the Flash Communication Server when it was released by Macromedia in 2002, and has since seen its evolution to become the current Adobe Flash Media Interactive Server 3 (FMS 3) with enhanced encryption for live data content protection (RTMPE) and the ability to encode in the standard H.264 video allowing for HD quality video.

?Flash applications offer versatility in creating live real-time social communication tools. For instance, our Internet TV application allows for programming of a custom online television station with built-in chat and live broadcasting capabilities, while our LivePresenter application creates a multi-cam presentation meeting environment,? said Richard Blakely, CEO at Influxis. ?Our FMS hosting plans will incorporate the more robust features and computing power of Adobe Flash Media Interactive 3, providing our customers with increased connectivity and bandwidth at the same affordable price tiers.?

Influxis, built by Flash developers, boasts a growing library of plug-and-play Flash applications which highlight the distinct social nature of the Flash Media Interactive Server 3. These free and customizable applications are offered with all Influxis hosting accounts. With Flash Media Interactive Server 3 hosting and pre-built applications combined in one site, clients can sign up online for hosting and get started immediately. In addition, Influxis has an in-house development team which provides one-to-one personalized Flash customer support for no extra fee.
